The accurate way to test babies’ bath water temperature; a must for new parents. 1. Run the water and dip the ScaldSafe disc into the hottest part Quick-acting, and re-usable, ScaldSafe is of the water, or blend water first. the accurate and easy way to test baby’s bath water.

2. Check the color of the disc:

If the disc keeps its original color, the water is below 93.2 F.
If the disc is only slightly tinged, or mottled with pink, the water temperature is approximately 93.2 F.
If the disc is bright pink, the water is too hot, above 93.2 F.

3. Re-adjust water temperature as necessary.

4. Upon removal from water, the disc will return to its original color and is ready for re-use.
