Each mailbox features a 1/8” extruded aluminum body with a 1/8” die cast aluminum front door and rear cover. Each unit also includes a magnetic door catch and an adjustable burgundy signal flag. Antique brass rural mailboxes can also be ordered with an optional newspaper holder (#4815-A) and can be mounted on standard posts #4855-A (bolt mounted) and #4885-A (in-ground mounted), classic posts #4890-A (top mounted), #4891-A (1-sided) and #4892-A (2-sided), decorative posts #4825-A (in-ground mounted) and #4826-A (bolt mounted), deluxe posts #4870-A (in-ground mounted, 1-sided) and 4880-A (in-ground mounted, 2-sided) or a base of your choice. All aluminum posts feature a durable powder coated finish. Multiple antique brass rural mailboxes may be mounted on the classic and deluxe 2-sided posts or on standard and decorative posts using optional spreaders.
